Meenakshi, a middle class Marathi girl, lives in her dream world to escape the craziness of her 4 family members. While her marriage-obsessed mother is looking for suitable grooms for her, she falls in love with a South Indian student, Surya, whose smell she is attracted to. She tries to find out more about him but her parents fix her marriage to Madhav, a simple boy. Now Meenakshi has to struggle to make Surya fall in love with her while her wedding preparations are on.
