When Sana approached Sampat to join their party during the Rajneeti task, she got a good lesson in what it takes to join the Gulabi gang. Sana tried her best to convince Sampat by telling her that they will dress like the Gulabi gang members and sing her slogans. Sampat however was completely indifferent to it and rather told Sana not to ‘bore’ her. While Sana went on and on about standing for women empowerment etc, Sampat just gave Sana a cold shoulder and walked away. 

A little while later, While speaking with her party members – Niketan, Sidhu and Assem about the same, Sampat tells them that it is not that easy to be a part of the Gulabi gang. She says that anyone can’t just become a part of the Gulabi gang. When a woman changes her mindset – ‘vichar dhara’ and does something for women empowerment, only then they get to be a part of the Gulabi gang.
