It is interesting to know that Mataji of Sasural Simar Ka, Jayati Bhatia’s favourite saas on TV is dadisa from Balika Vadhu. “She is an extremely strong woman. To make her grand daughter-in-law Anandi marry Shiv and let her go away for her happiness is a big decision. Very few women have that kind of strength. I really appreciate her perspective that she is the head of the family and to keep them happy she made few adjustments for the good keeping her principles intact,” Jayati explains.
According to Jayati, Mataji and dadisa have one thing in common that they both have progressed with time. “They have realized that to keep the family together they have to change for the good. They have to hold their old values and amalgamate it with a modern perspective. They have to bring out best of both the worlds to take care of their family,” Jayati tells you.
