With every season, contestants on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa have been seen expanding their horizons, breaking barriers, exploring dance forms and bringing something different to the table. However, in this very season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the contestants have taken upon themselves to take the show to a new level altogether. Joining in to witness the glory and mentor our contestants is Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who will soon be seen in the show.

Maksim will join the league of extraordinary judges- Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D’souza- and the behtareen celebrity-choreographer jodis on the show. You will get to see a breathtaking performance by the  Ukranian dancing star with co-judge Madhuri Dixit-Nene, which will leave everyone awestruck, before he takes his coveted seat in the panel. Get ready for a power-packed season of the dance show as we promise nothing less than a  dhamaka in the coming episodes!

Speaking about his stint on the show, Maksim said, “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is so much like the international version of the show, which I participated in, being here feels like a homecoming. Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Karan Johar, Remo D’Souza and the contestants have given me a warm welcome, making me feel truly special and honored. While it is tough for me to ignore technical glitches in their performances, I am looking forward to teaching the contestants and choreographers more about Latin dance forms and learn a thing or two from them about Indian dance forms!”

Maksim, a  respected choreographer and a Latin Ballroom dance expert, has created for himself a reputable name in the international dance circuit after his successful stint and incredible performances in Dancing With The Stars – the international version of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. He was crowned the winner of Dancing with the Stars Season 18, where he partnered Meryl Davis. With more than 10 international dance titles under his belt, Maksim’s knowledge and expertise of the western dance forms will surely raise the bar in this season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
