Jay Soni and Shamim Mannan -the newest couple on the block, are both winning audience hearts with their individual acting talent and endearing looks in the new show, Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki. But the biggest challenge for them is to create an appealing and interesting on screen chemistry, as the story ahead awaits a super romantic track!

A source on the sets revealed that Jay Soni calls Shamim Mannan with different names to tease her and develop a certain comfort level with her. One of these names is Isabella which means ‘beautiful’ in Spanish. Being the shy person that she is, Shamim in a timid way replies 'Gracias' which is again a Spanish word that means ‘Thank You’. Interestingly, this lovely banter between the couple is a super secret on the set, with no one besides the two knowing what they call each other!

When asked Jay about the secret behind this Spanish name he says, “I believe that as co-actors you need to share a very strong comfort level off-screen if you want to create magic on-screen. And so I keep teasing Shamim, as this will only help us enhance our characters and chemistry on-screen.”

Well Isabella reminds us of DDLJ where Shahrukh used to tell Kajol “Bade bade shehron main chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hain Senorita.”

All we can say is that it’s a smart move, Jay but now that the secret’s out, we wonder how many more languages will Jay use to keep the chemistry going?
