Preetika has been a nature lover and when we spoke to her about PMO's My Clean India campaign, Preetika pointed out that it's high time we should think about our environment. “When I go out of the country I see better systems as far as cleanliness is concerned. Roads are cleaner and green. But when we go to places like Rishikesh and Haridwar, it is disappointing to see so much of filth all around. Even our rivers and beaches are so dirty. we need to make our city clean,” she said.
According to Preetika, self discipline and awareness are two major factors required to go about this cleanliness initiative. “Rural people should be imparted knowledge about maintaining civic sense,” she added.
As far as her contribution is concerned, Preetika said, “I never litter around nor do I encourage it. I always make it a point that I carry my litter and dispose it at a proper place. Everyone should feel responsible towards this initiative.”
That's the spirit, Preetika!
