We usually see our actors switch between TV and films and in both mediums they excel. The Mega Star Shahrukh Khan too was first seen charming everyone on our TV sets. Going on the same route is our very own Shresth Kumar of Sanskaar.
The actor who has recently entered the show is seen playing the wicked Hitesh Kumar who is the husband of Jai’s sister Avni. And now it’s not only the show in which we will see him but also on the big screen.

Talking about his Bollywood debut Shresth in an interview told us, “I’m doing a film which is based on Superstars Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt’s friendship. Recently we got to see the two stars come to each other’s aid when Sanjay Dutt’s verdict was announced. It is from that incident my director Mohammed Baig got the inspiration to write a story on their bonding.”

While the topic seems interesting Shresth explained to us how the story will feature two fan boys of these stalwarts and what goes through a fan’s mind. “There are going to be two actors in the movie, fans of Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt respectively. I’ll be playing the role of Sanjay Dutt and basically we will try to show what emotions a fan goes through and at what level they worship their favorite stars.”

And luckily for Shresth this role will be an easy play as he’s a self-confessed Sanju Baba fan. “I think the aura that man has, the personality, the style and the attitude there’s no other actor like him in the industry. You know when he’s doing a role there’s no other actor who can actually play the same. Like when he played Kancha Cheena in the remake of Agneepath, you know you can’t imagine anyone doing that good a job.”

When asked if there’s a dream role of Sanjay Dutt that he would like to do Shresth said, “I don’t think I am at that level to say it but if ever given a chance I would like to play Munnabhai and Khalnayak.”

Well, we wish Shresth all the best for his Bollywood debut and hopefully like Sanju Baba he too achieves heights of success!
