Highlights of the Evening

•Salman Khan and Ek tha Tiger ruled the night, while Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwarrubbed shoulders with the most loved Bollwood stars in terms of popularity. Priyanka Chopra got an award for her debut album, In my city and Amitabh Bachchan was honoured as the best television host for KBC.

•Priyanka Chopra paid Tribute to Late yash Chopra and performed on a medley of the popular songs from his superhit films and said, “Yashji will never say action or cut to me but at least I could pay Shraddhanjali to him…” 

•Hema Malini won the 'Olay Ageless Beauty award' and said “If I got this award, I must be doing something right. For me, everything is because of my dance. They should keep having these awards so that the younger actresses maintain themselves till they're 60.”

•Salman Khan, when asked who would he give the award if it was his choice, said “Ill give it to the person who never accepts any award- Aamir Khan. When asked about Aamir being worried about his wedding. Salman said,”He's looking for a girl. Jaldi Dhoonde”.

•Madhubala won the Best New TV Drama award. The producers, Drashti, Pallavi (Padmini), Vivian and his fiancée were there at the function. The producers said that they were happy for the recognition and glad that it has taken off, while show’s lead actress, Drashti said that everything is because of the faith that her producers put in her.
