We have two news for you. First, the bad news. Chhal-Sheh Aur Maat, one of the most unique shows on TV, is going off air on 4th October. The good news is that like all good endings, even here, good will win over evil.

Viewers will know that Aditi's spirit is going all out to make Ija and Maai to pay for their misdeeds. Ginni, of course, has been helping her mother in her cause and now Kabir, too has joined in the mission of avenging Aditi's death. And the good news is that, they will succeed in their mission of exposing Ija. About time, we say!

We won't reveal how Aditi and Ginni, spirit and human, will manage to defeat the evil duo of Ija and Maai. For that, you will have to watch the final episode. But rest assured that Chhal will end on a happy note. Well, sort of.

Many shows claim to be different, but Chhal has genuinely been one of the unique shows to come on your TV screens. It started off as an edge-of-the-seat thriller, and after that, it went on to be a family drama, which was appreciated by the audience. And in recent times, it also skimmed the edges of the supernatural in the form of Ginni, the adorable girl with special powers. If that's not different, we don't know what is.

Says Hunar, who played Aditi on the show,”I'm sad that the show is ending, but also very happy with what it gave me. I have wonderful memories in all corners of the sets, and have made some wonderful friends. And I'm also very thankful for the love that Aditi has gotten from the audience.”

Avinesh Rekhi (Kabir), who took his first steps into tellydom with Chhal, also regards this show as special.”This is my first show, my first character. I learnt how to present myself to the camera and many new things with Chhal. The show and Kabir Jaiswal (my character), will always be special for me,” is how Avinesh puts it.

All's well that ends well, and this is true for Chhal. On screen and off it, it has ended on a happy note, and will always be remembered as a brave effort.
