Beintehaa has just completed 50 episodes and in a short span the show is doing wonders. But the team has no time to think of celebration since they are shooting round the clock. For the special Holi shoot episode, the team shot for almost 50 hours in three days with the cast of other shows of Colors TV. “We have been shooting back to back for almost 50 hours. We have hardly slept but whenever we get breaks we sleep in the vanity van,” Zain aka Harshad Arora tells you.
The show is grabbing eye balls and has made Zain and Aaliya popular as ‘Zaya’. With increasing number of fans, social media sites are flooded with fan pages of the show and characters. “I’m getting an overwhelming response from Pakistani and Indian Muslim girls. They have been emphasizing that Aaliya is their role model. It feels great to know that and I hope to live up to their expecatations,” Aaliya aka Preetika Rao tells you.
Since the team is spending a lot of time together, the entire cast is of the opinion that Beintehaa set is their second home now. “We all eat our food together and spend maximum time of the day on the set, so it has become a family. Everyone is comfortable with each other. We even help each other in our scenes,” says Suchitra Pillai who plays Suraiya Abdullah on the show.
Talking about her character’s popularity, she adds: “People love to hate Suraiyya as a mother-in-law but they accept her as a mother. She is protective and loving when it comes to her sons. She is against Aaliya only because she knows that Zain is forced to get married to her,” Suchitra explains.
Similarly, the viewers like the chemistry and nok-jhok of the elder daughter-in-laws of the Abdullah family, Nafisa and Shazia. “Nafisa’s style and Shazia’s attitude both are adding charm to the plot of the show. We have been getting all the love and support from viewers and we continue to do hard work to keep receiving that,” says Namrata Pathak who portrays Shazia the younger daughter-in-law of Abdullah family.
Indeed, it’s the hard work of the team that is paying off in making the show ‘Beintehaa popular.’
