Tonight on Barrister Babu, Sumati will be seen revealing everything about her accident, and Benoy being responsible for it. However, Sampurna takes the blame for it in front of everyone. Bondita and Anirudh, on the other hand, confronts Sampurna about her intentions behind keeping it all a secret for so long.  When Anirudh accuses Sampurna of being a gold-digger, Benoy shocks everyone by taking a stand for her. Anirudh threatens to walk out of the house in anger. Just then Sampurna, to retaliate Anirudh accuses him of resting on his family’s wealth and status, of being incapable of fulfilling his responsibilities towards Bondita on his own. This instigates Anirudh to walk out of the house to make a living on his own. Bondita decides to leave the house with Anirudh, and Sumati asks Bondita to take care of Anirudh in return. Anirudh and Bondita emotionally leave the house after bidding goodbye to everyone. Bondita also takes off all her jewelry and hands it over to Sampurna after being taunted by her and subtly and symbolically leaving behind all the material wealth and starting a new independent life.

Going forward, Anirudh and Bondita arrive at the chawl neighborhood and set up their little home. At night, Anirudh makes a swing for Bondita to sleep on and goes out to sleep. Bondita, on the other hand, uses her sari to make a machchar-daani for him so that he can read and sleep in peace.
