  • Rohit has been doing gymnastics for the past 19 years. In 1997 he played at National Level. In 1999 he went for his 1st International tour to Hungary with D.K.Rathod. Rohit has learnt from various international trainers. He has gone for more than 25 international tours. In 2003, he won silver medal in China Asian Gymnastic Championship. In 2004, he won bronze medal in Youth Games, Australia. He also participated in Common Wealth Games 2010 but lost the game due to an injury while performing. In the field of gymnastics, Alexei Nimov is his idol. Rohit is on IGT because he feels gymnastics as sports is not supported like cricket and hockey. He wants to popularize this sport and get more media coverage through IGT. 

    Achievements as a gymnast: 

    Created History by Winning Silver Medal in Asian Gymnastic Championship Held at China 2003. 

    25th in Tulit Peter Cup International held in Hungary (10th to 11th Dec, 1999.) 2nd in Children of Asia Games held at Yakutsk, Russia, (4 to 13 August 2000) 26th in Tulit Peter Cup International held in Hungary, 2000. 

    28th in Tulit Peter Cup International held in Hungary, 2002. 

    29th in Tulit Peter Cup International held in Hungary (13th to 14th Dec, 2003). 2nd in Asian Gymnastics Championship held in China (19th to 26th Nov. 2003.) 

    2nd in Commonwealth Youth Games held in Australia (9th Nov. to 4th Dec. 2004). 9th in Junior Asian Gymnastics Championship Qatar, Doha.U.A.E.

    14th to 17th Feb, 2005. 

    2nd in South Central Asian Gymnastics Championship Allahabad, India (20th to22nd Feb, 2005.) 

    Made a hatrick by winning All Round Individual Championship continuously in the 43rd, 44th and 45th Junior National Gymnastics Championship at Gurdaspur (Punjab), Coiambatore, Tamilnadu and Hyderabad (A.P.) 

    In the Year 2002, 2003 and 2004. Declared Three Times Best gymnast of All India Police.
