Rohit has been doing gymnastics for the past 19 years. In 1997 he played at National Level. In 1999 he went for his 1st International tour to Hungary with D.K.Rathod. Rohit has learnt from various international trainers. He has gone for more than 25 international tours. In 2003, he won silver medal in China Asian Gymnastic Championship. In 2004, he won bronze medal in Youth Games, Australia. He also participated in Common Wealth Games 2010 but lost the game due to an injury while performing. In the field of gymnastics, Alexei Nimov is his idol. Rohit is on IGT because he feels gymnastics as sports is not supported like cricket and hockey. He wants to popularize this sport and get more media coverage through IGT.

Made a hatrick by winning All Round Individual Championship continuously in the 43rd, 44th and 45th Junior National Gymnastics Championship at Gurdaspur (Punjab), Coiambatore, Tamilnadu and Hyderabad (A.P.)
In the Year 2002, 2003 and 2004. Declared Three Times Best gymnast of All India Police.
