Hargun Kaur

Hargun kaur is from Amritsar, Punjab. She has been learning music from the age of 3 from her mother and grandmother. They teach her ‘Shabad’ (prayers) and sargam. She started taking professional training 8 years ago. Now she is pursuing graduation in music (B.A in Music). She has participated in regional shows, college festivals, college level competitions and school competitions. She has also participated in national level competitions like “Hariwallabh sangeet sammellan” where she got semi classical music senior category award. She wants to become a famous singer, a composer and a performer. Currently she is trying to write lyrics and idolizes Shankar Mahadevan and wants to learn music from him. She has come to IGT because she wants to perform on a National Reality Show. She believes that if she wins this show she can get a chance to learn music from Shankar Mahadevan and she can also release her own album.
