Gurmeet Choudhary

He is one of the contestants of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa: Season 5. Gurmeet Choudhary is a Hindi actor. As an actor he has done one film, Koi Aap Sa, which is also in Hindi. It was released in 2005 and was directed by Partho Mitra. Gurmeet's parents are based in Mumbai and his father worked in the army. He has an elder brother, who is a doctor but Gurmeet was keen in becoming an actor since childhood.

At school he used to take part in drama and at 18 joined a theatre in Jabalpur. Gurmeet bagged the title of 'Mr. Jabalpur'. He also participated in Mr. India contest. He did modeling in his early days and tried really hard for almost 5 years to make his mark in the entertainment industry. During his struggle time of 5 years he also worked in a Tamil 3D film called Mayavi. It was a huge hit down south, that is why he has got so many south-Indian fans too.
