  • Born into a Sindhi speaking family on November 21st 1982, Aarti Chhabria is a model and actress. She appeared in hundreds of advertisements for brands like Amul, Crack Cream, Farex, Freshna and Liril.

    She won the Miss India title in 2000 and went on to  appear in music albums with Sukhwinder Singh (Nasha Hi Nasha Hai) and Adnan Sami (Ruthe Hue Hain Kyun).

    She started her film career in 2001 with Lajja but didn’t get any recognition as the film didn’t do well at the box office. Her next film Tumse Acha Kaun Hai which brought a little attention to her and is thus considered to be her first film.

    Though the film wasn’t a hit, Vikram Bhatt decided to sign her on for his next flick Aawara Paagal Deewana starting with Govinda, Fardeen Khan, Tushar Kapoor and Akshay Kumar though she hasn’t ever stared in a movie that was a commercial success, many critics and fans believe that she truly has talent to be one of the top stars in India.

    Chabria was modeling from the age of 3 years. She was the Farex Baby, and appeared in several commercials including Maggi Noodles, Pepsodent tooth paste, Clean and Clear face wash, Amul Frostick ice cream, LML Trendy Scooter, Krack Cream.

    After completing her education, Chabria shot into fame when she was crowned Miss India WorldWide in 1999.

    She then appeared in the music videos - Sukhwinder Singh's Nashi Hi Nasha, Adnan Sami's Roothe Hue Hai Kyo (from album Tera Chehra) and another titled Madhubala.

    Her first leading role in a Bollywood film was Tumse Achcha Kaun Hai in 2002, but before that she had appeared in a cameo role in Akansha and Lajja in 1999 and 2001 respectively.

    She portrayed the roles of an NRI tapori in Awara Paagal Deewana, of a woman with a split personality in Raja Bhaiya, a belle who is a bar dancer, in love with an underworld don in Shootout at Lokhandwala, a housewife in Daddy Cool and a small town girl Suvarnalata in love with gold in Dus Tola.

    She was the winner of the fourth season of Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi in 2011.

    She is now a participant on the show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa- Season 6.
