'More the merrier' is a term that certainly applies to the festival of Janmashtami. And this came true on the sets of Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuchh Kaha when 6 male leads of Colors turned up to join in the fun. Take a look to see the masti on the sets!
Surprised to see Prem of Sasural Simar Ka shaking a leg? So are we. Shoaib Ibrahim, who is always composed and mature while playing Prem, got into the garb as well as the mood of Dahi Handi as he danced to the tunes of Go Go Govinda with a horde of back up dancers. Shoaib says that he had a lot of fun shooting in an atmosphere filled with gulaal and music.
Do we see a grin on Jagya's face? Shashank Vyas, who plays the normally cranky Jagya in Balika Vadhu, took a breather from his high drama life and entered into high voltage dance mode. His tall, lanky frame made the dance moves all the more endearing, and Shashank says that this kind of gully dance is right up his alley. We agree!
From college prom dances in Uttaran to Dahi Handi dance in Na Bole Tum..., Yuvi (Saurabh Raj Jain) has come a long way. And we approve. His casual white shirt and jeans look suits him and the naughty look on his face tells us that he's enjoying taking a break from being evil and letting his hair down for a while.
Here Shashank aka Jagya and Shoaib aka Prem are taking a break from the rigorous rehearse and dance routine and are posing for the camera. Dostana-2 in the making? Just kidding. But the camaraderie between these stars had to be seen to be believed and all the male leads were happy to meet their counterparts on other shows after a long time.
Here come the boys! Mohan (Kunal), the lead of Na Bole Tum..., walks in, flanked by his buddies from the other shows. This boy band includes Siddhant (Manish) and Prem (Shoaib) from Sasural Simar Ka, Yuvi (Saurabh) and Aman (Gaurav) from Uttaran, Jagya (Shashank) from Uttaran, and Kabir (Avinesh) from Chhal. We love how the mohalla is decked up, and are envious of how much the boys are enjoying themselves.
Why should boys have all the fun? The newly wed Megha Bhatnagar, played by Akanksha Singh, seems to be enjoying being the only girl in this army of boys. Wonder what she is showing Yuvi (Saurabh) and Kabir (Avinesh)?
We know that Mohan is another name for Krishna, but the boys seem to be confused. Prem (Shoaib), Yuvi (Saurabh), Aman (Gaurav), Jagya (Shashank) and Kabir (Avinesh) seem to have no trouble picking up Mohan (Kunal). Maybe this is their way of congratulating him on his wedding?
Has Addu finally warmed up to Mohan? This picture clearly says so. Addu uses his new papa as support while he tries to break the Dahi Handi. And Mohan, happy to see Addu opening up to him, is supporting him on his able shoulders. This father and son jodi does paint a pretty picture.
Size does not matter in Addu's case as he valiantly climbs atop his father and breaks the handi easily. We were a little scared of such a young kid climbing up so high, but Addu (Shivansh) was not scared at all. Not just that, he broke the handi in 1 attempt, which is super considering this was his first attempt.
That's what we call a happy family! And it is a big one at that. The new Bhatnagar family, Mohan, Megha, Nanhi and Addu, pose alongside their extended family in a picture perfect example of happiness and celebration. If this is not a great way to celebrate the festival of Janmashtami, we don't know what is.
