Main samay hoon! Remember the famous ‘aakashwani’ in Mahabharat, even today viewers haven’t forgotten that voice and its surround sound effect that left on the viewers. It’s a known fact that for any story to be impactful and set the pace it needs to have a narrator, a strong voice. A narrator brings in that much needed depth and feel to the story, keeping the viewers connected to the show. Jai Jag Janani Maa Durga, the latest show on COLORS is going to be a delight for all mythology lovers as it brings in actor Daya Shankar Pandey to lead the story as a storyteller.
Actor Daya Shankar Pandey popularly known for the character of Goli in Lagaan plays the character of Sootji, the narrator of the show. With his resonating voice and strong hold on Hindi diction, Daya Shankar Pandey is an apt sutradhaar for Jai Jag Janani Maa Durga. Having proved his mettle in intense acting classics like Swades and Gangajal, Daya Shankar now brings the much needed connect and translation for the viewers to identify with the show. Having worked in various mythological shows, here’s hoping that Daya Shankar’s sutradhaar journey is aided by Maa Durga.
