Viplav’s first encounter with Dhani wasn’t as sweet as one would expect it to be. Drunk and out of his senses, Viplav bumps into the young widow Dhani on the ghats of Benaras. Angered by his wayward attitude, Dhani refuses to give prasad to Viplav when he asks for it.  Enraged over Dhani’s refusal to give him prasad, Viplav sets out on a mission to teach her a lesson. 

Viplav who is the grandson of one of the most revered men in Benaras, Mahant Dashrath Tripathi is a spoilt young brat. Life for him has always been easy and soon he is to go abroad to pursue his further studies in law. Widowed at a young age, Dhani on the other hand has chosen to live her life in recluse according to the vidhwa dharm in an ashram in Benaras.

While it wasn’t enough that Viplav threw color on Dhani, his  next course of action lands Dhani in jail. His thirst to get back at her is at an all time high that he doesn’t even realize the repercussions his actions would have on her life.
