Asha Bhosle is as interested a judge as there can be. She is known to criticize a performance when she is not happy with it, even when the rest of the jury finds it worthy of a 10. But the same Ashaji can be very generous, extravagant even, in her praise if she likes a song.

This side of Ashaji is going to be witnessed in today's episode. The theme of the episode is Rahat Fateh Ali Khan vs. Sukhwinder Singh, and Diljaan performed a soulful Rahat song. The song is enjoyed by one and all, but Ashaji heard the song with her eyes closed and tears streaming down her face.

When asked what she thought about the song, she said, “Till date, I have cried only for Lata didi's song, and today I have cried during your song.” That sure was the biggest compliment for a young contestant like Diljaan.

Ashaji has been pretty open about her fondness for her elder sister in SurKshetra. She had told Sara (Raza Khan) once after her performance that it was impossible to reach Lata Mangeshkar's level. And now Ashaji has said that Diljaan's singing has the same effect on her as Lata didi's singing. We're sure Diljaan must be walking in the clouds now!
