Nautanki- The Comedy Theatre is all set to light-up your weekends with unlimited laughter. For the first time on Indian Television, you will see an innovative and larger than life comedy show, in the Broadway style.

An entirely new concept on Television, Nautanki follows the format of live acts and a special four-turntable construction with changing props that helps the acts to move fluidly between locations.
Be ready to witness a confluence of theatre, film and television weaved around a new theme in every episode.The show aims at bringing amusing issues of daily life, that viewers will find connect with, through a contigious story line, making it for an entertaining weekend. 


Meet team ‘Nautanki’
Neha Dhupia and Tusshar Kapoor are the team owners of a Nautanki company in search of the main lead along with their ensemble cast of four primary characters.  These primary ‘nautankibaaz’ are Gurpreet Ghuggi – the famous stand-up comedian from Jalandhar as the Jaadugar padosi, the versatile Rashami Desai-Sandhu a.k.a Tapasya from Uttaran as the Natkhat Sali, vamp turned comedian – Kamya Punjabi as the Chulbuli Patni and India’s most adored child comedian Saloni Daini as the Bathaki Maa. 


What’s the story?
The story line moves forward with every episode as these artists playing different characters trapped in various situations along with special cameos by different celebrity guests in every episode.


The first episode
The first episode will see the father – son duo, Jeetendra and Tusshar Kapoor along with yesteryears villain Ranjit as a bar owner. The subsequent episodes will also have special cameos by Bigg Boss contestant Imam Siddique aka Mr. Manorajan, India’s new heartthrob Ayushman Khurana and the witty Kunal Roy Kapur.

So, mark the date on the calendar and get ready for a solid dose of laughter every Saturday & Sunday at 9.00 pm only on COLORS!
